We watch in horror as our nations social,

      financial, and cultural center suffered

      an attack like never before.

     We offer our compassion and prayers

    to the amilies, friends, and neighbors

    of all the cictims in this tragedy.

I will  send you these candles of peace,

   in hopes that peace will prevail on earth,

   and that mankind will cherish it, 

hold it dear and never let it go.

   So that this dream of peace may someday

   live in all hearts, and ever sparkle bright.
